Vegan French Toast

1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
1/4 cup chickpea flour (cornstarch)
1 teaspoon ground flaxseeds
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6-8 slices thick sliced vegan brioche bread
2-3 tablespoons vegan butter or coconut oil for cooking
You can choose to slice the bread or to have it whole. In a shallow bowl, combine your nondairy, milk, chickpea, flour, ground, flax seeds, baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Once mixed completely, you will dip one side of your vegan brioche bread in the mixture then flipping to another side to repeat the same step. Once all decides are covered in the mixture you will then take a skillet that already has melted vegan butter or melted coconut oil in it and cook one side at a time of the bread. You can put multiple French toast in the skillet, depending on your side of skillet. Once all sides are cooked then serve. Anyway that you eat French toast it is perfect, sticks or sliced. Top it with fruit, powdered sugar, or maple syrup. Enjoy!
