Let’s dive into how to make this easy, tasty dish!
2 cups of lentils, cooked or canned
1 cup almonds
3 dates, pitted
2 cloves garlic
4 tbsp hamburger spice
Bun
BBQ sauce
Sauerkraut
Avocado
Preheat the oven to 350°. Follow the cooking instructions on the back of the bag of lentils but instead of water use vegetable broth. Or buy canned lentils. Once lentils are cooked thoroughly, add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend into a chunky mixture (if you don’t have a food processor, just crush almonds, minced garlic, and add everything to a mixing bowl and mash into a chunky mixture). Make 6-8 patties out of the mixture and place on parchment paper on a baking sheet. Bake the patties for 15 minutes on 1 side and flip and bake the other side for 10 minutes. Take the patties out of oven once crust is crispy and brown. Let patties cool before assembling burger and add toppings. And enjoy.
