Can(s) of chickpeas drained, and rinsed
1/4 of an onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
Seasonings
1 tablespoons smoked paprika
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
Pinch cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
½ teaspoon dried ground sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
First, combined the spices in a bowl.
After the veggies are prepped, in a skillet put oil and first sauté onions until translucent. Then, add peppers cook for 5 minutes. Lastly, add chickpeas and spices and combine completely. Once everything is covered and fully cooked to your liking, serve and enjoy.
